Harmony

This is my first entry for the Kubo contest. I wanted it to depict Kubo facing his enemies with the knowledge that he has his loved ones to give him strength. Despite being surrounded by negativity, Kubo is able to overcome his fears by holding onto the memories he has with those he loves. The idea that friends and family can help you to overcome your most difficult challenges in life really resonated with me and I wanted to use that as my main inspiration for this piece. I went through a bunch of different ideas and sketches before I finally ended up with this one, and I'm pretty happy with the result!
